Against the backdrop of a dull and dreary patriarchy, the latest issue of Run the World 2022 celebrates the hopeful light we find from our everyday in Life in Colour: Victories of Multicultural Women in the 21st Century.
As a collective of law students from diverse backgrounds, we are far too familiar with the hardships endured by women both within and beyond the legal landscape. While we recognise that the journey for equality and justice is ongoing, our publication team wishes to honour the remarkable accomplishments of multicultural women who have changed our lived realities thus far. An appreciation for our present as we traverse into a vibrant future.
From powerful storytellers to under-appreciated industry trailblazers to legal heroes who are all at once advocates/advisors/allies, and to our very own mothers, this issue paints a picture that is pigmented with dynamic tones and hues that reflect their strife, victories and aspirations.
